That Other

My latest single released Friday 25th September

As featured on BBC Introducing - That Other, the latest single from North-East singer songwriter That Clare is a riotously angry darkwave electronic classic with vibes of early CBGB punk pioneers Television & Suicide(band).

The single is released along with a music video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW-Oqy16fuI which features gracious contributions from Alice Skye - photographer and CEO of Hexham Pride and Mark McGowan - The Artist Taxi Driver which contribute a real positioning of the song subject and the push back by communities as they come together.

The track & video were written, produced and recorded by That Clare in her home studio.

It is the third release from That Clare’s debut album “Social Konstrukt”, released in 2026.

About

That Clare

a truly authentic protest singer / songwriter

That Clare brings roaring post-punk synthwave queercore to protest influenced by Laura Jane Grace, Blondie, & Pattie Smith. Think Nine inch Nails meets Everything But The Girl. A talented punk/alternative singer songwriter who writes & performs her own often poetic songs with deep meaning, That Clare will be singing her heart out to give a voice for trans/queer rights & social justice
